Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) is seeking a driven individual to join our City of Industry team as a Financial Analyst.  This role will work in our manufacturing plant located in City of Industry, CA, reporting directly to the Controller. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the accounts payables functions, working closely with the Purchasing team and driving cash flow strategies. Major Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a Financial Analyst is Financial Reporting and Analysis.  The ideal candidate should be able to analyze data, offer recommendations to improve productivity and prepare daily, monthly and annual presentations on plant operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
 
  • Work directly with the Controller in reviewing processes, identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
  • Work closely with other functions in the plant in the areas of Inventory Control, Receiving and Shipping.
  • Work within the Accounting/Finance team in the areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.  Specifically, in regard to aged accounts in both areas.
  • Monitor the facilities Accounts Receivable aging and lead bi-weekly meetings with the Customer Service Representatives and Financial Shared Services Group to coordinate collection efforts on specific aged account items.
  • Prepare and update the site’s weekly cash forecast for weekly cash calls with the Corporate Headquarters
  • Prepare several daily reports for distribution to both the management and the operation teams.
  • Assist in completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly physical inventories of raw materials.
  • Perform annual physical inventory of Work in Process inventory.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis when requested by the Site Controller
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety polices practices and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and to external customer.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, with several years of experience, preferably within manufacturing. MBA – preferred.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing finance experience.
  • Excellent PC skills and understanding of ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, and internal controls and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities, time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work professional overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced experience in Excel, Access, Word. Proficiency in Excel is required. 
Exempt, Salary $65,000 to $90,000
