Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually (DOE)

What You’ll Do?

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be a key technical partner across production, engineering, and customer teams—ensuring products consistently meet demanding aerospace standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing, maintaining, and improving quality systems, procedures, and best practices
Interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
Partnering directly with customers to resolve technical quality questions and concerns
Using structured problem-solving tools to improve yield, performance, and profitability
Auditing production processes to ensure repeatability and compliance
Supporting customer and external audits from preparation through closure
Driving corrective and preventive action closure (CAPA)
Managing non-conforming material investigations and resolution
Supporting qualification documentation and data submission packages with engineering teams
Generating Certificates of Conformance and shipment quality documentation
Supporting statistical process control and analysis activities (SPC, Gage R&R, capability studies, DOE, Six Sigma)
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across casting processes
Collaborating with NDT Level III personnel to ensure product compliance
Supporting development of internal job instructions and process documentation
Maintaining and supporting FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineeringor 3–5 years of relevant quality engineering experience
Experience working with quality systems, auditing practices, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools
Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T requirements
Familiarity with casting or complex manufacturing environments (strongly preferred)
Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, DOE, and capability studies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
