Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually (DOE)

What You’ll Do?
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be a key technical partner across production, engineering, and customer teams—ensuring products consistently meet demanding aerospace standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, maintaining, and improving quality systems, procedures, and best practices
- Interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Partnering directly with customers to resolve technical quality questions and concerns
- Using structured problem-solving tools to improve yield, performance, and profitability
- Auditing production processes to ensure repeatability and compliance
- Supporting customer and external audits from preparation through closure
- Driving corrective and preventive action closure (CAPA)
- Managing non-conforming material investigations and resolution
- Supporting qualification documentation and data submission packages with engineering teams
- Generating Certificates of Conformance and shipment quality documentation
- Supporting statistical process control and analysis activities (SPC, Gage R&R, capability studies, DOE, Six Sigma)
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across casting processes
- Collaborating with NDT Level III personnel to ensure product compliance
- Supporting development of internal job instructions and process documentation
- Maintaining and supporting FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineeringor 3–5 years of relevant quality engineering experience
- Experience working with quality systems, auditing practices, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T requirements
- Familiarity with casting or complex manufacturing environments (strongly preferred)
- Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, DOE, and capability studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
