We are looking for a dynamic Executive Meetings Manager (EMM) who has experience in the group sales and/or catering process, working with clients and the normal functions of a hotel.  Position responsibilities include:  managing a market, selling guest rooms and meeting space, servicing groups, managing food & beverage orders, rooming lists and acting as a ”one-stop -shop” for smaller groups.  Additional responsibilities include booking day meetings, managing client relationships, generating and soliciting business, contracting programs, achieving established room revenue and food & beverage goals, and conducting site inspections. The EMM will facilitate communication before, during, and post event with clients and pertinent lodge staff to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.   Additional responsibilities include: presenting effective proposals, generation of new clients, client entertainment, and sales calls. Manager will work closely with other Sales Managers, administrative staff and the Lodge team to ensure clients a smooth transition between departments.

Qualified candidates should exhibit:  a high level of organization, the ability to work quickly and efficiently to keep up with demand, a strong ability to multi-task, a drive to meet and exceed production goals, excellent time management, exemplary verbal and written communication, experience in contract writing and negotiating, and must be a team player.

  • A minimum of 2+ years of hotel sales or like experience

  • Computer proficiency and experience with:Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Delphi.Experience with Maestro a plus.

  • A BA or BS degree in business or hospitality management is a plus
