Healing Arts Center and Spa Manager: Spa Treatment Manager (Sausalito, CA)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Supervises the day-to-day operations of the treatment providers in conjunction with the Director of the HAC & Spa and the Healing Arts Center Leadership Team.
2. Manages and maintains schedules for treatment providers.
3. Maintains daily inventory of all professional products as well as guest supplies.
4. Coordinates in-house training for facial, massage and body treatment services.
5. Readily assists in locker rooms, tea bar and at the spa desk whenever needed and without prompting.
6. Works closely with housekeeping to ensure that linens are well stocked, and other housekeeping items readily addressed.
7. Participates in the hiring of new staff by interviewing and selecting qualified candidates.
8. Will be expected to exercise discretionary judgment in regard to employee challenges, guest challenges and operational challenges.
9. Will be expected to make managerial decisions and direct the staff daily in accordance the company handbook and operational policies as set forth by the Spa Director
10. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to handle guest complaints, and/or employee related issues.
11. Assists Director of HAC & Spa with payroll
12. Assists Director of HAC & Spa with performing yearly reviews for treatment providers

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:

1. Must possess excellent communication, organizational and business skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
2. Must demonstrate a professional, effective demeanor and maintain standards of Cavallo Point excellence in guest service.
3. Must display the ability to work with a variety of people, remain calm and professional during stressful situations, must be able to analyze and resolve guest and/or staff related problems.
4. Must be able to multi-task
5. Must possess a positive and cooperative demeanor

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must possess a four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience.
2. Must possess a working knowledge of spa operations and treatments in all application departments i.e. Housekeeping, Massage Modalities, Skin Care and Esthetic Services.
3. Must possess minimum of 3 years spa experience
