- Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Healing Arts Center in conjunction with the Healing Arts Center & Spa Leadership Team; giving particular attention to the relaxation area, locker rooms and outdoor courtyards/Meditation pool
- Supervises guest service and locker room staff
- Perform daily opening, closing and/or mid-shift procedures based on scheduled shift.
- Acts as Manager on Duty in absence of other Spa Managers
- Has a thorough working knowledge of Cavallo Point services, hours of operation, facility offerings, etc.
- Provide guests with detailed information regarding Cavallo Point services (i.e. all departments and restaurants)
- Check guests in for appointments and services.
- Book, alter, and recap services to guests and input detailed notes as covered in training.
- Assist with guest recovery.
- Performs and/or assigns any other reasonably related duties to ensure guest satisfaction, the smooth operation of the Spa and positive publicity
- Assists the Spa Manager in developing, training and mentoring staff
- Adheres to Cavallo Point standards and values for guest service.
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and business skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with spa booking software, as well as hotel property management systems preferred
- Organizational skills and the ability to create employee schedules
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to work efficiently and with minimum supervision
- Must possess a positive and cooperative demeanor
- Must display the ability to work with a variety of people, remain calm and professional during stressful situations, must be able to analyze and resolve guest and/or staff related problems
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- One year spa experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
