Seasonal Host (Sausalito, CA)

1. Handle all guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Organize reservation template from OpenTable reservation system
3. Greet and acknowledge all guests that arrive and depart restaurant
4. Show guests to pre-planned table destinations
5. Answer general guests’ questions regarding restaurant operations (hours, menus, bathroom location etc.)
6. Answer calls when reservation line is forwarded to main host desk
7. Sincere and warm interaction with all guests and consistent eye contact
8. Assist with large party booking and set up
9. Organizes and maintains the flow of the restaurant with the employees and managers
10. Graciously interacts with guests that are waiting for tables providing timely feedback

12. Maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conduct.
13. Follow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook.
14. Attend interdepartmental meetings as required.
15. Sincere and warm interaction with all guests/clients/vendors including consistent eye contact with a smile.
16. Follow and deliver 5 Star services’ standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needs.
17. Other duties as assigned.

1. 2 years of fine dining experience as a host/hostess preferred
2. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, College degree preferable
3. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
4. Must be able to work standing for 8+hours per day
