- Meet or exceed pre-determined booking goals associated with catering revenue.
- Responsible for handling of inquiries and monitoring the efficient flow of paperwork relative to confirming function details to the client.
- Solicit new and repeat catering business, including outside sales calls.
- Determine the guest's needs, space availability, meeting details and food and beverage requirements.
- Provide proposal after evaluation of a potential piece of business for profitability.
- Complete coordination of the Catering Sales group functions; accurate and timely preparation of detailed Contracts, Banquet Event Orders and Event Resumes.
- Forecast catering revenue of booked events.
- Check functions prior to guest arrival and make personal contact with client at the time of function with proper introduction of service staff who will handle the event.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends based on business demands.
- Follow company policies and procedures as established in the employee handbook.

- A minimum of 3 years of hotel catering/convention services management experience required.
- College degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or related field preferred. Familiarization with hotel catering management concepts and tools preferred.
- Must have computer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel in Windows.
- Prior experience with the Amadeus (Delphi), or other hotel cloud-based software preferred.
- Must effectively manage and adhere to daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
- Ability to operate in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity.
