Massage Therapist (Sausalito, CA)

We are seeking Massage Therapists who can provide our guests with authentic, soothing massages using organic or wild-crafted ingredients blended exclusively for Cavallo Point. Candidates MUST have minimum of 500 hours of education from an accredited massage certification program and required that you have a current California State Massage Therapist Certification (CAMTC) to be considered. Candidates must have the skills needed to perform 60 and 90 minute comprehensive Swedish massages and deep tissue massages, using professional draping techniques.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Comprehends and abides by Cavallo Point policy and procedures
2. Consistently clocks in and out as required by policy
3. Provides guests with a thorough and knowledgeable 60-90 minute professional massage
4. Provides 60-90 minute cross-gender in-suite massage
5. Demonstrates respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests’ needs with a professional and pleasant manner
6. Practices universal health care protocol while dealing with guests and coworkers
7. Is present for schedule and works any hours that are booked
8. Arrives to work and is clocked in 15 minutes before shift begins and maintains promptness, starting massage and ending services on time.
9. Wears proper uniform and is neat and well-groomed
10. Sincere and warm interaction with all guests including consistent eye contact with a smile
11. Follow and deliver 5 Star services’ standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needs

1. Complies with Spa Treatment Department policies.
2. Complies with Spa Treatment Department operational procedures
3. Sets up and breaks down assigned massage room; maintains neat and well-stocked room
4. Completes and submits necessary paperwork, checks mailbox and reads posted notices on bulletin board
5. Attends monthly departmental meetings and workshops as directed
6. Interacts cooperatively and with consideration towards guests and co-workers
7. Exercises dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility
8. Maintains physical fitness
9. Participates in continuing education and maintains a minimum of 8 CEUs per year
10. Performs other job-related duties as directed.
11. Adheres to Cavallo Point standards for guest service.
12. Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Cavallo Point guest problem resolution policy.
13. Maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conduct
14. Follow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook
15. Comply with the attendance policy and specially meal breaks and rest breaks, reporting any discrepancies to management

1. Minimum of 500 hours of massage training from a accredited massage school
2. Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason
3. Must have completed course in anatomy and physiology from an accredited school, preferably massage school
4. Must be able to perform 60-90 minute comprehensive Swedish massage, using professional draping techniques; additional knowledge of other techniques is preferable.
5. Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workers
6. Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions.
7. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Rate of Pay:  $16.90 per hour plus commissions and gratuities
