The Banquet Server (Full-Time) will provide excellent fine dining service to our banquet guests. Will serve plated meals and monitor beverage service during all banquet functions. Will set up and break down events based on event orders and client requests.

JOB SUMMARY: To serve all food and beverage in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to follow directions and work in a group forum to promote the best banquet dining experience possible. Provide fast and efficient service at all tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Handle all guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Complete  knowledge of the banquet menu
  3. Adequate wine and beer knowledge to field questions during service
  4. Able to work with other servers to execute proper sweep sequence.
  5. Ability to independently problem solve issues that arise in the banquet event room.
  6. Works with line staff and kitchen to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  7. Know sequence of service and follow the sequence of service
  8. Perform any side work task deemed appropriate by the Captains or Managers
  9. Maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conduct.
  10. Follow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook, to include knowing and following the meal and the rest breaks policies.

  12. Uniform cleanliness and proper attire at all times without exception
  13. Sincere and warm interaction with all guests/clients/vendors including consistent eye contact with a smile.
  14. Follow and deliver 5 Star services’ standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needs.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
  1. Ability to take direction from Managers or Banquet Captains
  2. Ensure that all tables are properly set at opening and after turnover
  3. Adhere to side work requirements as set forth by banquet managers
  4. Uniform cleanliness and proper attire at all times without exception

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Three years of food and beverage experience as a Food Server
  2. Familiar knowledge with banquet/catering service
  3. Ability to effectively communicate in English
