We are looking for an In-Room Dining Coordinator to coordinate the duties of the day with IRD employees, coordinate all deliveries and special requests with the Rooms departments, Spa and Mercantile and to answers phones/order take for the department. Applicants must have experience with exceptional guest service and can remain organized in a fast paced environment.

JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate with IRD servers the duties and performance of each individual, coordinate with rooms department, sales department, spa and mercantile all their deliveries, events and special requests.

  •  Check the daily board BEO’S, amenities and IRD daily note book.
  • Responsible of the information in IRD daily note book, carts keys and radios as well as all log sheets.
  • Ensure order takers keep track of keys, radios, logs sheets and update the note books.
  • Check all the emails, and night report, make sure pending duties are complete, and respond/confirm all the emails/request with the managers (especial last minute amenities, BEO’s updated, last minute additions for amenities.)
  • Check all the amenities and VIP report see which ones are times sensitive and which ones have special requests. Make sure that they aren’t missed.
  • Communicate with the front desk for any room changes or special amenities
  • Check in with the morning crew, see that all the side work gets finished and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
  • Organize and file BEO, amenities, log sheets in it respective binders weekly
  • Updated all monthly logs ( Front Desk/ Tea Bar/ Mercantile/ All departments amenities)
  • Present a weekly report to F&B outlet managers.
  • Oversee that orders are correct and being sent at the right times.
  • Oversee amenities have being sent correctly and external amenities have been charged.
  • Assist with deliveries and tray pickups as needed.
  • Follow IRD order taker duties on your shifts.
  • Assign runners their respective servers tasks ( ice deliveries, mini bars, and amenities If necessary)
  • Make sure that everyone has gone on rest breaks and meals breaks.
  • Make sure station is clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Ensure side works is done by each person
  • Check the status of the carts before morning/night crew goes home.
  • Responsible of IRD inventory monthly.
  • Responsible to communicate with manager the IRD supplies and equipment need it.
  • Responsible to communicate manager of red wine and amenity chocolate order.
  • Assisting conducting employee performance review as needed.
  • Communicate with manager any issue between employees.
  • Any issue presented with any employee or guests need to be address to a manger immediately.

  1. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Ability to speak Spanish is preferable
