The early childhood Teacher's Assistant will be responsible for assisting the with all aspects of the learning environment, including but not limited to, creating a safe and nurturing environment, administrative paperwork, attending meetings, communicating positively with parents on a daily basis, supervising staff, and preparing food. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the curriculum aspect of the classrooms in overseeing and coordinating developmentally appropriate curriculum and programming.

Position Available: 30-40 hours/week; candidates to be available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:
  • 18 years or older
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Must be able to pass background checks
  • We are willing to train the right candidate
  • Early childhood (or related field) college credits preferred
  • Experience working with children in this age group preferred; willing to train the right candidate how to work with young children

Job Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of an Early Learning Center Classroom, such as creating a safe and nurturing environment, attending meetings, communicating positively with parents on a daily basis, interacting and facilitating the children's play and learning. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum and program, using Teaching Strategies (Creative Curriculum) approach.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.
