We are partnering with our client to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Specialist, International
Regulatory Affairs (REMOTE). In this role, you will support global compliance initiatives for food and dietary
supplement products, helping manage regulatory submissions and ensure smooth international market
access. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a solution-focused
mindset to navigating complex regulatory challenges.
Core Duties:
• Coordinate and prepare documentation needed for international market access, including
import/export permits, product certifications, and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA).
• Collaborate with departments across Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and
International Sales to drive regulatory deliverables for new and existing products.
• Support international partners by gathering and providing technical documentation and regulatory
data.
• Track project timelines, identify potential delays or risks, and implement solutions to ensure timely
execution.
• Address customer regulatory inquiries, resolve documentation issues, and provide ongoing
regulatory support.
• Serve as the central point of communication for project updates, regulatory tracking, and meeting
documentation.
• Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with company and regulatory
standards.
• Maintain and organize regulatory documentation and ensure version control of templates and
reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including setting individual development goals
related to job performance and environmental or social impact.
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–7 years of regulatory experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, specifically
within food or supplements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international regulatory requirements, including documentation and
compliance for markets such as Mexico and Canada (Costco experience preferred).
• Familiarity with U.S. labeling regulations for food and dietary supplements.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and with
external stakeholders.
• A self-motivated, resourceful approach to managing projects independently and within teams.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Remote role with the possibility of occasional travel as required.
• Standard office hours with periods of extended computer use.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
