Job description
Provide support for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and security of Microsoft Windows servers and clients.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide support for administration and maintenance of SAN hardware and OS. Install, administer, troubleshoot, and harden web servers. Provide support for all aspects of the VMWare environment.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High school diploma/GED plus 16 years of experience, or Associate's-level (AA/AS/Technical school) plus 10 years of experience, or a Bachelor degree in an IT field with 8 years of experience. Must be able to be granted a security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, VMWare 5.5 and newer, IIS and Apache Web servers, Active Directory, DFS (SAN and fiber networking is a bonus). Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Windows 7 and Windows 10 and the ability to build and configure baseline system image in all supported versions of Windows and the capability to deploy built images to supported workstations. Experience with Microsoft Windows servers and desktop, data back-up systems, RAID systems, Hyper-V, Microsoft IIS 6/7.Security+ and Microsoft Operating System certification. Must be willing and able to work after hours/weekend support for patching and maintenance as needed. Excellent communication skills and able to liaison with outside agencies and ability to work independently. Possess high moral character and integrity.
Desired Skills: Experience with Solaris, RHEL 7.x, and DBMS administration (MSSQL 2008/2012/2014). CISSP certification.
