Title: Production Manager @ Bristol, IN
Terms of Hire: Full Time.

Job:
The Production Manager position is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established procedures and for overseeing all activities related to the manufacturing of Clients’s various product lines including, but not limited to, emergency response bodies and chassis, motorhome chassis, specialty vehicles, and Isuzu N-Gas.     
Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, and direct production and indirect activities to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner · Forecast staffing needs to meet demands of the business and staff team accordingly · Design, develop, and implement processes that increase yield and/or improve quality · Perform workflow analysis and develop methods for the production team · Coordinate with managers and supervisors to establish production and quality control standards · Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, and programs to improve safety, productivity, and profitability  · Implement and maintain OSHA and company programs and standards · Ensure employees and managers have the required safety training and are consistently working in a safe manner; develop and implement safety programs to reduce accidents and injuries · Work with managers to address organizational needs, equipment utilization and maintenance · Lead, communicate, and coach to cultivate a motivated associate environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership · Ensure operational supplies are on hand and available at all times · Prepare all required reports and correspondence · Develop, implement, and monitor department budget and manages expenses within approved budget constraints · Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement · Stay up to date on overall activities of the team, identify problem areas and take corrective actions · Communicate with cross-functional teams (engineering, materials, purchasing, sales, etcetera) to resolve issues · Work in close proximity with customer, as needed · Solve complex problems with minimal assistance · Other tasks as assigned    
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience · Minimum of seven years manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership skills required; vehicle assembly line experience in a leadership role preferred · Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task · Innovative team player · Intermediate computer skills are required · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  · Commitment to excellence and high standards · Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, and sometimes difficult, decisions · Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines · Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment  · Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks · Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities  · Bilingual skills preferred · Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions · Strong: o Communication skills, verbal and written o Leadership attributes and interpersonal skills o Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Bachelor's Degree   Required in  Related   field     
Functional Experience   7+    Years     
Describe Experience   Required:   Manufacturing   experience with demonstrated leadership skills required; vehicle assembly   line experience in a leadership role preferred     

Management Experience   3    - 5 Years
