IT Manager, Manufacturing (Morrison, TN)

• Responsibilities:
• Implements policy and strategy for short-term results and influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures
• Influences, coaches, and develops direct reports.
• Manages team to apply computer integrated manufacturing principles to deliver customer technical/functional specifications, budget adherence, automation/continuous improvement of processes, and cost/efficiency requirements
• Creates and manages institutional knowledge
• Analyzes the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements
• Designs the network architecture and performs technical analysis of software, hardware, network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems
• Ensures compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and protocols
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
• Develops all resource and manpower plans for the area
• Providing various analyses, including organizational and systems feasibility
• Ensures resources are in place and operating effectively within the technical discipline
• Establishes plans and prioritizes initiatives
• Integrates internal and external resources
• Ensures that all IT staff is effectively trained
• Assigns work, monitors work quality and reviews output
• Makes hiring recommendations
• Must also be able to balance the needs of multiple users and communicate the business advantages of various technical solutions.
• Must also be able to effectively communicate and deliver highly technical information to numerous audiences, including senior management, the customer community and the junior staff.
• Develops and proposes short and long term budgets for the area and is accountable for achieving budget objectives.

• Bachelors in IT Discipline. 10+ years of IT Manufacturing experience. (Hardware, Software Development, IT maintenance, Process Coding, Robotics) Strong leadership experience and coaching personality. Comfortable handling on-call schedule during emergencies or shut-downs.
