CLIENT is seeking a Network Cloud Engineer with in-depth understanding of networking systems and TCP/IP to include experience in IP Addressing and Subnetting; Network Address Translations; MTU; QoS. As a Sr. Network Cloud Engineer you will combine your skill sets of network engineering, automation, and software development in a unique way to deliver stable and strategic automation network solutions in the cloud. Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching systems (Fortinet); understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols. Knowledge of AWS networking and routing to include VPCs, subnetting, security groups, route tables, peering connections, direct connect and direct connect gateway. Ability to perform configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of IP network infrastructure (LAN and WAN devices). Automation of virtual networking environments desired.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 8-10 years of related IT networking experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of Network Automation
- Cisco experience with modern Cisco equipment and design patterns, certifications desired (CISSP, CISSA)
- An understanding of cloud services, specifically Amazon Web Services and exposure to products like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, and Cloud Watch

Key Job Functions
- Demonstrable automation/orchestration using any of the following: Chef, Ansible, Phython, YAML.
- Demonstrable automation scripting experience in one or more of the following: Python (preferred), PHP, Perl, PowerShell, C++
- Experience with designing, managing and operating networking environments for mission critical business functions in a mid to large scale enterprises
- Supporting Linux and Microsoft Windows Server based operating systems in a physical, virtual, and cloud based environment.
- Interface and coordinate with ISP’s for break/fix, installation, and moves/adds/changes of Internet connectivity.
- Design patterns (firewall as well as additional products), certifications desired
- Fortinet experience with FortiOS based products building and maintaining connectivity between sites, partners, and SaaS/IaaS/PaaS providers (mostly Amazon Web Services)
- Build executive business cases for opportunities for larger scale, long term improvements
- Mentor less experienced network engineers to maintain consistency and uniformity
