Job description
The Role:
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Client to better serve our members. The Senior Software Engineer develops innovative projects that help teams improve system resiliency, performance, and efficiency. Your mission will include building platforms that teams can leverage to accelerate innovation in the areas of reliability, scalability and velocity.
 As Senior Software Engineer you will:
  • Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable custom built technology solutions to meet business needs
  • Collaborate and support team members in delivering high-quality software solutions in an agile environment
  • Work with product management and drive the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements
  • Meet with business partners to understand business needs
  • Responsible for overall technical design of solutions
  • Design, build and test applications
  • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality
  • Contribute to evolving software excellence, architecture, design, coding standards, testing, patterns, automation, tools, etc.
Qualifications:
Additionally you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing complex, high-performance enterprise software.
  • Flex development and Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of code reviews, unit and regression testing.
  • Experience with React/Angular, Golang, Mongo, SQL highly preferred. 
  • AWS experience preferred.
What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
Understanding of full stack development and experience on backend and frontend • Extensive knowledge with frontend development using tools like React/Angular, or similar tools • Must have excellent collaboration working with the development team and business representatives
What are the nice-to-have skills?
Experience in GO would be a plus • GitLab experience would also be a plus
