Social Media Editor
Support the development and growth of the distribution and content and interaction with Dwell's audience across social media platforms.This is a full time position with the possibility of being based in either Dwell's San Francisco or New York office.

About You
  • Creative, forward-thinking, innovative mindset
  • Experience in tracking social media analytics
  • Experience and comfort with traditional and digital marketing best practices as well as fresh, out-of-the-box thinking
  • An understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging user behaviors
  • Positive, reliable, and motivated creative leader with a solid work ethic
  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be flexible and to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write skillfully and confidently
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • A love for modern design, architecture, and consumer products
  • Previous experience in social media, product marketing copywriting or the like
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field

You Will
  • Produce content across all social media platforms in accordance with the wider social media strategy
  • Manage day-to-day content calendar across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Produce content that piques readers’ curiosity and creates buzz around new content
  • Research industry trends and audience preferences
  • Analyze social engagements (likes, comments, video views etc.) with tools like Facebook Insights and Google Analytics to provide actionable insights for future content strategy
  • Work with the Community & Social Media Manager to create and maintain an optimal content calendar, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Serve as a resource and ambassador to Dwell’s community both online and off
  • Collaborate across internal teams (sales, marketing, print) to ensure scheduling and promotion; provide feedback on performance to Inform future content decisions
