ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Oversight of staff:
    • Create and nurture a positive environment through continuing education, cross training, staff growth through increasing responsibility and excellent patient care to achieve the goals of the corporation.
    • Process time off requests and monitor overtime and approve time cards prior to payroll processing.
    • Assign duties and tasks to appropriate staff within the center effectively.
    • Interview and hire new staff in accordance with center budget with guidance from DCO
    • Ensure compliance with all published company policies, procedures and SOPs through audit and observation
    • Follow Disciplinary SOP and apply fairly and consistently
    • Complete performance evaluations (30/90 and annual)
    • Conduct monthly staff meetings to ensure that all staff are properly informed
 
  • Oversight of center operations:
    • Responsible for all aspects of center, staffing, regulatory, budgetary and facilities, etc.
    • Monitor and manage patient flow
    • Plan and implement creative ideas for improving patient experience
    • Ensure staff and patient safety through facility maintenance, staff training and adherence to published policies and procedures
    • Serve as Center HIPAA officer
    • Respond to patient, physician, affiliate and staff concerns in a timely manner
 
  • Facility Management:
    • Maintain safe environment through proper maintenance and repair of facility
    • Adhere to established policies and procedures for equipment maintenance
    • Coordinate proper HVAC maintenance schedule
    • Communicate with SEI vendors for cleaning, garbage, snow removal and landscaping
    • Report any equipment or asset that cannot be repaired for replacement to DCO
    • Ensure proper use of medical equipment and maintain service and calibration logs and adhere to all maintenance policies
 
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all employees comply with HIPAA / HITECH, OSHA, OIG and published company policies
    • Ensure all employees complete OSHA & safety monthly e-training
    • Consistently evaluate all operations are compliant with SEI policies and procedures.  Report concerns to DCO/Compliance Officer

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education:       
  • College degree in related field preferred or commensurate experience.

Qualifications:  
  • Professional demeanor
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally
  • Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
  • Goal oriented with ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to meet deadlines in an efficient and complete manner
  • Proficient computer skills including EMR, Microsoft Word and Excel

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Medical office environment
  • Travel as required
  • Adequate vision, speech, hearing and overall physical condition to meet duties of the position
