The position:
AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester, Test Lead to support Battlespace Modeling & Simulation. This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Quality Assurance Associate.

Position Background:
The Modeling & Simulation Enterprise Applications (MSEA) product suite supports modeling and simulation(M&S) environments; trainer systems; test and evaluation (T&E); analysis; live, virtual and constructive (LVC); research and development (R&D) activities for DoD agencies and its international partners. All products are government owned, developed andmanaged. The Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) is a continually evolving synthetic environment generator that supports multiple platform/services training, testing, analysis and research and development.

A typical day as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester, Test Lead may include:
- You will be leading the NGTS Testing team for the MSEA branch. You will be testing software for an advanced synthetic training environment. This software is integrated into flight simulators to support pilot training against potential threats. You will support software development, software integration, testing, customer training and demonstrations.
- Install and run regression tests on a new NGTS test build (multiple builds weekly).
- Test a variety of Jira issues from new feature implementation to bug fixes to database queries.
- Document test results discovered issues in Jira.
- Collaborate with NGTS software developers and subject matter experts during training sessions.
- Create new test procedures documents to validate new requirements.
- Communicate access a large team to verify correct procedures and software issue diagnosis.
- Run extensive regression tests when software reaches Release Candidate (RC) phrase.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with scripting, database, and programming languages in Python 3, and HTML.
- Prior experience supporting Model and Simulation efforts.
- Prior experience supporting automated testing.
Must-haves:
- Minimum 2-year experience leading a software testing team using Agile & Waterfall Development Methodologies.
- Minimum 4-year experience with testing/developing software products.
- Experience with scripting, database, and programming languages such as C++.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
