Working in a collaborative team-based environment, the Operations Assistant will support the operations team in the day to day maintenance, repair and operation of a commercial office complex, while ensuring the facility is a safe and comfortable environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with completion of Tenant Service requests (i.e. light bulb and temperature changes).
Assist with completion of scheduled maintenance.
Cleaning and painting of mechanical and electrical areas.
Assist with common area inspections and construction area inspections.
Assist Building Operators in maintaining inventory for filters, fuses, lamps, ballasts, plumbing supplies and mechanical system parts.
Miscellaneous tasks and other duties as requested (such as assisting with event set up, relocating inventory, etc…)
Provide Tour & Site Inspections as Requested.
Ensure Corporate OH&S Policies, Procedures and Programs are being followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled in a post-secondary education program as a technical/trade school student and planning fall, 2023, return to school
- Mechanically inclined
- Eager for exposure to technical property management processes and procedures
- Capable in the use of Microsoft office programs
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and initiative
- Detail oriented and able to effectively manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
