We’re looking for a Leasing Lead to support our Leasing Consultants in the Central Region of our portfolio. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and authentic individual passionate about selling.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide guidance and leadership to the leasing team to meet their monthly targets and address any inquiries or concerns they may have. The Regional Leasing Manager and the National Leasing Manager will work hand in hand on pricing strategies, scheduling, and the day-to-day operations of the leasing team to ensure there is alignment with market needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

Leadership and Management
  • This role involves managerial responsibilities, where you will oversee the training and development of the leasing team. Your duties will include setting goals and regularly monitoring the portfolios and objectives of the leasing consultants monthly.
  • Collaborating with the National Leasing Manager, this position entails formulating action plans to rectify areas of concern. The focus remains on aligning these plans with the overarching goals and objectives.
  • Effectively convey strategies and objectives to diverse stakeholders
  • Write and deliver performance reviews.
  • Guiding and inspiring a leasing team to achieve their best performance.

Marketing and Leasing
  • Encourage site tour appointments with all prospective resident callers and email inquiries.
  • Assess potential residents to identify the most suitable communities for their requirements.
  • Highlight the unique benefits of the property to residents, encouraging them to commit to scheduling an appointment.
  • Organize open houses as necessary, in collaboration with leasing consultants.
  • Sustain vacancy rates below the set threshold.
  • Achieve and uphold monthly rent roles.
  • Actively participate in weekly revenue management calls.
  • Assist leasing consultants in negotiating lease terms to maximize value.
  • Build strong community awareness through B2B sales calls.
  • Carries out other duties and/or procedures related to marketing as assigned.

Administration and Reporting
  • Review and approve all leases for the region.
  • Compile and present reports about vacancies, leasing trends, and rent rolls.
  • Provide appropriate leasing reports to various stakeholders.
  • Collect weekly leasing reports from leasing consultants and disseminate them to the leadership team.
  • Provide a bi-weekly leasing schedule.
  • Review, complete, and maintain the Availability Report and Daily Traffic Report.
  • Carries out other duties and/or procedures related to rental and administration of suites as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving is required.
  • Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and interests while being culturally aware.
  • Have a thorough understanding of competing properties and current market conditions.
  • Valid Drivers License Required.
  • Availability to work between Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am-7:00 pm – hours of work will vary within the range.
