Reporting to the Manager, Corporate finance, this role will be in the GWLRA Winnipeg office and will be responsible for various functions related to expense disbursement process and vendor maintenance.

  • Validate and upload allocation data prepared by business units
  • Set up online payment accounts for utility and tax payments
  • Validate and coordinate vendor BillPay information for set-up
  • Prepare and upload daily/weekly data on subledgers
  • Download transaction data from the system for tax filing
  • Assist manger to improve the overall reimbursement procedure by coordinating with Accounts Payable team
  • Reconcile month end reports
  • Prepare bank charges and interest allocation to applicable properties
  • Validate online payment data entered by other members and release the payment
  • Review and verify IR details including authority levels and validity of payment
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Enrolment in CPA designation preferred
  • Post-secondary education from a recognized institution in business administration, accounting, or related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is required
  • Strong data management skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills and self-management
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to think critically about work being performed

  • 3 weeks of vacation per year
