Our Mississauga Leasing team is hiring a Leasing Coordinator. This is a perfect opportunity for you to be involved in the leasing and marketing of our industrial and retail real estate properties from start to finish. The successful candidate will be crafting correspondence and preparing marketing packages, to showing our properties and participating in negotiations and meetings, you will also have the opportunity to learn about our sales process.

This is a highly collaborative and team-oriented role as you will work closely with our leasing managers, communications and administrative support teams. You will assist the leasing department with a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires someone with a high level of detail who is comfortable working in a process-driven environment with multiple competing priorities.

Leasing Administration
  • Manage events for brokerage community and clients
  • Ability to prepare, edit, and blackline offers, waivers, RFPs, letters of intent, commission agreements, and proposals
  • Internal deal processing, including credit checks and facilitate the asset management approval process
  • Processing documentation for distribution, and assist with the sublease approval process
  • Maintain (digital) filing system; set up new files as needed
  • Track right and options from lease documentation and administer stacking plans
  • Closely tracks all transaction activity, prepares leasing budgets, and commission forecasts, and updating the lease activity summary on an on going basis
  • Other responsibilities as delegated by the Director

  • Manage all marketing brochures, videos, virtual tours, broker receptions etc. for portfolio
  • Perform other ad hoc marketing duties on development of LinkedIn, website updates, and other communication strategies

  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone/in-person inquiries while providing general information as needed
  • Maintaining schedules, calendars and appointments for the Director,
  • Ensure accuracy of client report platform, Yardi, and Leasing Workflow
  • Compiling and submitting expenses on behalf of the Director
  • Organize cross-department meetings and reporting
  • Develop strong relationship with internal stakeholders for leasing, asset management, property management, legal, construction

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role and post-secondary educational background (University Degree or College Diploma in real estate or business preferred)
  • A passion or keen interest in the real estate industry
  • Strong customer service skills and a natural people person
  • A high attention to detail with strong abilities to multitask in an ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced & high-volume environment
  • Real estate license is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi 7 is an asset
