Our Downtown property management team is looking for a Property Administrator.  This role will be responsible for the daily property management administrative functions including full responsibility for all Accounts Receivables, Lease and compliance requirements as needed, processing Tenant file maintenance on an automated property management system. 

 Among the duties in this role will be:

Accounting & Finance Activities: Prepare, process and submit monthly Accounts Receivable reports as per schedule. Assist the Property Management team in budget preparation of operating expenses and capital expenditure working documents.

Billing & Transaction Processing: Issue various billings and Tenant charge-back invoices to Tenants for miscellaneous charges. Perform all rental account and invoice administration, including reconciliations, record maintenance, collections and all tasks related thereto; provide both verbal and written communication with Tenants. Deposit rental cheques to appropriate bank accounts, code tenant cheques, photocopy cheques and record cash receipts to Tenants’ accounts on CTI.

Leasing & Compliance: Work closely with various internal groups to ensure all administrative aspects of Tenancy Leases are maintained. Collect Tenant insurance certificates and review to ensure compliance to our policies and Lease requirements.  Ensure records are up to date at all times and send out monthly reminders.

Customer Service: Consistently provide improved service and maintain a positive and professional working attitude. Assist occasionally with rotational Reception/Tenant Services relief;   answering calls, processing work orders amongst other front desk duties.

You have a post secondary education in Business, Accounting or a related relevant stream. Your minimum 2 years work experience in a real estate property accounting or an administration role positions you to handle daily property management activities in a logical, clear and consistent manner. You have strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Property Management systems experience. You have a natural customer service approach with the ability to problem solve and meet the needs of client, delivering successful results within a reasonable time frame.  During the interview, we will want to learn about your ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast paced work environment.
