  • Be an experienced residential leasing agent or sales expert with keen organizational skills
  • Have a good understanding of advertising and promotions of residential properties
  • Flexibility to work weekends, and holiday hours to accommodate business needs
  • Handles all telephone and walk-in inquiries from prospective residents professionally and courteously
  • Conduct tours with prospects, lease available suites and/or renew upcoming lease expiries with specific leasing goals in mind
  • Collects and completes all pertinent information on the Application Form and forwards to the Community Manager and/or Property Manager for approval
  • Inspects upcoming suite availabilities prior to showing to potential residents
  • Completes background checks, order credit checks, completes and forwards leases for execution of the signing of all leases, schedules, assignments, and addendum forms, uploads when completed
  • Ensure rental rate, incentive offerings, and additional applicable charges are represented and accurate
  • Notifies all applicants of the Landlord’s decision (approval or decline) of the application
  • Provides move-in package to new residents at time of lease signing; provides a full orientation when possible
  • Assists with coordination of moving elevator reservations for move-ins and outs with the Community Manager for new and current residents
  • Assists with completion of incoming and outgoing suite inspections and documents as required
  • Follow up with prospective residents to ensure no lead is lost
  • Ensure that prospective resident applications are completed correctly and in full
  • Carries out other duties and/or procedures related to rental and administration of suites as assigned
  • Work constructively with the team to ensure customer service requirements are resolved and team goals are met
  • Conducts monthly market surveys and provide the information to Head Office
  • Complete traffic reports, vacancy reports and related paperwork as required
  • Informs the Community Manager of any deficiencies or problems noted in the building or on the property that require attention
  • Carries out other duties and/or procedures related to property marketing as assigned

  • Grade 12 diploma or above
  • Customer service background with at least 1+ year experience
  • Be proficient using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Yardi, RentCafe - industry systems is preferred, but not must
  • Flexibility and able to deal with changing priorities, willing to learn new things and multi-tasking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Open to work on weekend whenever is needed
  • Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with data privacy
  • Have exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build excellent relationships with customers
