The Leasing Assistant role will provide support and assistance in the day-to-day leasing and marketing functions. Such duties include several centralized functions, including all reporting, marketing initiatives, special projects, and systems training.


  • Preparing lease/deal excel summary sheets
  • Coordinate and input leasing assumptions into system for the budgeting processes
  • Process and code commission invoices, as well as tracking for future payments
  • Perform administrative duties including processing documentation for distribution; arrange meetings, booking travel and managing team expenses
  • Track right and options from lease documentation, departmental budget and process department expenses
  • Assist with research and preparation of all monthly reports (ie. Stacking Plans, Availability Reports, etc)
  • Assist with the input of information into Yardi and Workflow
  • Maintain all administrative procedures for the Leasing Department 
  • Responsible for researching, reporting, and maintaining current competitive market information 
  • Assist in maintaining leasing information for the corporate and respective marketing websites 
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required
  • Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
  • Post-secondary educational background (University Degree or College Diploma in real estate or business preferred)
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a process driven environment
  • Experience in commercial real estate industry is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi 7 is an asset
  • Experience with InDesign is an asset
