The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Technical Illustrator/Graphics Designer to develop multimedia products, to include photographs, graphic illustrations, video, interactive web and other approved publishable products/formats in accordance with the publishing and formatting standards for doctrine publications established by the Army and the Training and Doctrine Command regulations as well as Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate guidance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and/or correct graphics using the following computer software to produce desktop publication images for insertion into documents. (Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Paint, Microsoft Picture Manager, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, or generic graphic editing software).
  • Contour and renderings of Army equipment using vector graphics and animations that appear, move, and hide over twenty-five elements in sequence, on a single slide.
  • Edit raster graphics using a generic picture editor, and Microsoft Paint.
  • Develop process flow charting utilizing the appropriate industry symbology related to architectural, computer, electrical and mechanical design.
  • Apply the principles of three point perspective to drawings of vehicles and equipment.
  • Work with writers and subject matter experts to develop the objective of the messages that they are trying to convey as illustrated figures.

Position Qualifications
  • Proficient in English language with the knowledge of grammar, syntax, punctuation, word usage, formatting, terminology, and appropriate style usage.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office 2013 Suite of applications
  • Communication skills sufficient to elicit from writers and subject matter experts the objective of the messages that they are trying to convey as illustrated figures. 

Position Requirements:
Successful navigation of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) [background check] in accordance with (IAW) Army Regulation 25-2
Familiarity with Army regulations/publications:
     Writing style shall be in accordance with TRADOC Regulation 25-30. 
      Graphics contained in the drafts shall be in accordance with Army Doctrine Reference Publication (ADRP) 1-02.
     Terminology and abbreviations contained in the graphics shall be in accordance with ADRP 1-02.
