The Gemini 3 Group has a contingent opening for an Acquisition/Program Analyst to plan, provide, and coordinate acquisition/ logistics management support to help provide Marines with an updated Blue Force Tracking capability across the USMC’s tactical environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assists with studies, prepares reports, and advises on feasibility, cost effectiveness, and regulatory conformance of plans, proposals, special projects, and/or programs.

  • Assists the team in providing logistics representation and/or acquisition representation support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings.

  • Coordinates equipment shipment and track assets.

  • Assists in developing technical and acquisition/programmatic plans and documents (e.g. Acquisition Strategies, Integrated Master Plans, Performance Work Statements, Business Case Analyses, Test Plans, etc.).

  • Developing logistics programmatic documentation that includes logistics planning, maintenance & reliability analysis, spares determination, provisioning documentation and related sustainment assurance.

  • Performs analysis and evaluation for training systems, training, devices, job aids, curriculum, interactive multimedia instruction, and simulations in accordance with DoD, DoN, and USMC policies and procedures.

  • Provides expertise in supply support functions.

  • Provides technical documentation support to include acquisition documentation development, statement of work development, review of Production Contract CDRLs or other actions that support Marine Corps equipment.

  • Maintains regular work attendance.

  • Follows established procedures to fulfill project goals.

  • Prepares, reviews, and updates program schedules and technical briefing materials.

  • Assists in developing, applying and reporting measures to track program cost, schedule and performance progress.

  • Coordinates activities to develop and tracks program deliverables.

  • Obtains and maintains any security clearances, status or licenses required by client to perform work.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have CMPRO certification.
  • Experience working on command and control situational awareness technology programs.

  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time.

  • Ability to provide exceptional attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Life-cycle Management policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of USMC Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P), startup hand held (phones, tablets) programs, and/or military grade Global Positioning Service (GPS) programs highly preferred.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.

  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including usage of SharePoint. MS Project experience a plus.

  • DAWIA Level II equivalent preferred.

  • All positions that require access to U.S. Government facilities and systems require U.S. Citizenship, and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities.

  • Some travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

  • A BS/BA in business or a related field.A minimum of 3 years of experience.A HS/GED degree with additional years of experience may be substituted in some cases.
