The Gemini 3 Group has several contingent openings for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) located in Camp Lejeune, NC; Southern CA; and HI, in support of the tactical satellite communications systems. Candidates for the positions are expected to possess both experience and in-depth knowledge of SATCOM-based, command/control and in depth knowledge of integrated systems fit into integrated MAGTF C2 combat capability.

Essential Job Functions
Coordinate with user, including the warranty coordinator, Program Office, MCTSSA, and the Marine Corps Logistics Command in order to perform the following functions:
  • Provide fielding integration support and NET for C2 systems fielded to I MEF, II MEF, and III MEF at their designated fielding locations.
  • Support training requests.
  • Field/install approved system modifications changes and provide associated operator training to required units.
  • Conduct fault isolation and identify/verify faults reported by the user.
  • Input system failure data in to government provided websites.
  • Draft status reports, and collect data from service requests for maintenance.
  • Serves as subject matter experts to assist the Government in the development of curriculum updates and technical publication updates.
  • Demonstrate specific installation, operation and maintenance tasks, and proved feedback on C2 Systems.
  • Support exercises and test events by assisting in the configuration of the system, testing for proper functionality and troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide over-the-shoulder training to Marines in conjunction with service calls to assist with troubleshooting and diagnostic upon request.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Successful completion of KIMS training course within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be well organized, punctual, reliable and thorough, and must be capable of managing resources and schedules to achieve deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented and possess an ability to positively interact with diverse groups of people to achieve common objectives.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to provide exceptional attention to detail.
  • Possess a background in training Marines, as well as be familiar with USMC training methods and standards
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and experience working with mobile C2 systems communications systems is a plus.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including usage of SharePoint. MS Project experience a plus.
  • All positions that require access to U.S. Government facilities and systems require U.S. Citizenship, and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities.
  • Up to 30% travel will be required.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 4-7 years’ related work experience.  Must be able to perform the above essential job skills and functions.
