The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Technical Publications team within the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC).
 
  • Serve as an advisor to Equipment Specialists, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other agencies on United States Marine Corps (USMC) technical publications and lifecycle management.
  • Review several types of USMC technical publications: Technical Manual (TM), Modification Instruction (MI), Supply Instruction (SI), Technical Instruction (TI), Fielding Plan (FP), Disposal Plan (DP), SL-3, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), Electronic Technical Manual (ETM), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM).
  • Ensure format and style of USMC technical publications align with military standards.
  • Maintain the accuracy of technical publication records in Marine Corps systems.
  • Provide feedback to equipment specialists regarding style and format for USMC technical publications
  • Assign PCNs, Short Titles, and Long Titles for a variety of USMC technical publications.
  • Knowledge of military publication standards: MIL-DTL 28999_, MIL-STD 38784_., and MIL-STD-40051.
  • Knowledge of Publications Library Management System (PLMS).
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps systems: Marine Corps Enterprise IT System (MCEITS), Marine Corps Publication Distribution System (MCPDS), Stock List (SL) 1-2, and VIPER.
  • Create and maintain publication templates. Ensure the templates are published to Knowledge Center.
  • Perform technical publication research utilizing FedLog, Logway Item Apps, TFSMS, and WebFLIS.
  • Publish, update, and delete USMC technical publications to/from MCEITS, MCPDS, and SL 1-2.
  • Review and provide feedback on the Technical Publications job aids and work instructions for Equipment Specialists.
  • Work independently and as part of a team while following established rules and deadlines.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
  • Must have Associates Degree and strong writing and editing skills.
