The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Technical Writer to support a valued U.S. Marine Corps customer. This position provides critical technical writing and editing services to Marine Corps acquisitions programs and in support of administrative processes.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Prepare accurate, relevant, and well-coordinated documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Develop new or revised products based on enterprise templates, style guides, and governing regulations and orders.
  • Initiate, monitor, and manage document staffing processes.
  • Coordinate with program teams and leadership to ensure accuracy and continuity across products.
  • Participate in meetings and review processes related products.
  • Conduct all required research and analysis to ensure products are comprehensive, relevant, current, and fully synchronized across all competencies, portfolios, programs, and projects, as applicable.
  • Maintain well-organized product archive and staffing action tracker.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
  • Must be a critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Must be a subject matter expert with demonstrated understanding of copyediting principles, grammar, formatting, and governing regulations.
  • Must be able to work independently and write and edit multiple products simultaneously.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in written and oral communication to articulate and explain recommended changes regarding assigned draft documents.
  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps organizational structure, acquisition, and operations and administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Position requires minimum of 3 years of experience developing and writing military documents in support of military organizations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
