The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a System Safety Specialist to provide Program Management support to a valued United States Marine Corps (USMC) client.
 
Essential Job Functions: 

  • Draft, review, and recommend changes to documents related to Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health. 

  • Develop a System Safety Program Plan and System Safety Management Plan.

  • Complete Safety Assessment Reports and Programmatic Environment, Safety, and Health Evaluations (PESHE).

  • Conduct Environmental Hazard Analyses, Environmental Impact Reviews, and System Hazard Analyses.

  • Draft, review, and recommend changes to documents related to the Ammunition Safety Data and Technical Data Package to include the Navy Energetic Qualification and Final (Type Qualifications), Hazard Classifications, Shipboard Shock Certification, and other safety analyses for program activities and fielding decisions.

  • Conduct Ammunition Cataloging in support of ammunition safety.

  • Attend working group meetings, integrated product team meetings, boards, panels and other safety related meetings to include System Safety Working Group Meetings; Software System Safety Technical Review Panels, Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB) Meetings.

  • Familiar with industry/military established principles and practices.

  • Must be organized and have a “go getter” attitude.

  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time.

  • Ability to provide exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.

  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including usage of SharePoint.

  • All positions that require access to U.S. Government facilities and systems require U.S. Citizenship, and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance and/or CAC.

Required Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  A HS/GED degree with additional years of experience may be substituted in some cases.
