Conflicts Analyst (Buffalo, NY)

Goldberg Segalla is a national civil litigation law firm that represents major national and regional companies and insurance carriers in all aspects of business counseling, risk assessment and dispute resolution including representation in various types of claims, controversies and litigation involving personal and other injuries, property damage, contract disputes and business torts. Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for a Conflicts Analyst in its Buffalo office. This position is eligible for hybrid work. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
 

• Conduct conflict of interest searches in accordance with firm policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and appropriate party information is entered in Aderant
• Appreciate and understand the impact of the Conflicts Department and Aderant usage on other departments and the firm overall
• Receive cross training and assist other departments on an as needed basis
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate and current information in Aderant
• Assist with special projects and assignments as needed

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: 
 

• Law firm experience is a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years working in an office environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Thorough working knowledge of word processing programs and database functionality (Microsoft Office Environment)
• Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others within and outside of the Conflicts & File Opening department
• Organized individual with great attention to detail required and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment
• Creative thinker and ability to think outside of the box
• Strong communication skills and ability to comfortably interact with attorneys and staff

Benefits:
The hourly salary range for this position is $21 to $26. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers a full benefits package.
