JOB SUMMARY
A Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. Ensure that all operations are aligned with company goals and strategies. All employees are expected to carry out the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, or related field
Must have experience with mergers and acquisitions
5+ years of experience in executive leadership
7+ years of management of large teams
Experience working in a high-pressure environment is preferred
Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software is required
Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues is required
WORK CONDITIONS
Employees in this position should be able and willing to drive or travel if requested. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours.

As a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Schill Grounds Management, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:
- Be responsible for the operational integration of mergers and acquisitions.
- Helm budgeting and resource allocation efforts alongside the other C-level executives and the senior management team.
- The COO will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for the execution and implementation of the CEO’s vision for the company.
- Provide leadership and guidance to those under your command.
- Work effectively with interdepartmental teams to achieve company goals.
- Manage relationships with partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operational planning.
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
- Adhere to all company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance, and taking action when necessary.
- Assist the CFO with financial projections and analysis of existing programs and policies.
- Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
