The Ecommerce product Associate identifies, appraises and lists some of the most intriguing curiosities we receive at Goodwill. Thru your knowledge of trends,  strong research ability, background and sheer intuition, you will be responsible for identifying high value or high potential items from our donations channels and sorting it by category and potential line of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Grade and determine condition of items based on customer satisfaction guidelines; focus on Quality Control procedures to ensure that every item has the condition graded correctly
  • Write product listings with detailed, accurate and trend relevant descriptions and titles
  • Post products for sale online and contribute to exceeding sales goals
  • Maintain quality control of online listings
  • Review and research online marketplaces in order to make educated decisions whether items meet online standards
  • Identify and pull product for online sale
  • Execute daily quality control checks and make suggestions for continued improvement
  • Participate in all training activities to acquire skills on the job
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures and guidelines to complete assigned duties
  • Provide support to the eCommerce Production Coordinator to ensure smooth operations
  • Continually provide suggestions and feedback for process improvement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Less than 1 year of related experience
  • Background in art, antiques, vintage items, collectibles or other consumer goods helpful
  • Experience in digital photography helpful
     
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Read and write English proficiently, or have enrolled in and are on track to successfully complete an approved ESL program
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with diverse group of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
  • Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all
  • Follow workplace quality and safety standards and contribute to a culture of safety
  • Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement
  • Strive for high customer satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to consistently lift a minimum of 45 lbs unassisted 
  • Able to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period of time
