The Associate assists with all activities related to daily order fulfillment including but not limited to printing orders, packing, processing shipments, running reports/ close-outs and monitoring packing supply levels. The Associate reports directly to the Supervisor.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with activities related to fulfillment
  • Assist with daily career pickup
  • Monitor packing supply levels to ensure we never run out
  • Provide detail oriented customer service through accurate and efficient work
  • Assist with order picking in the warehouse and ensure accuracy and condition of each time
  • Pack a high volume of inventory items according to the packing standards
  • Ship a high volume of orders and sort them into the appropriate container
  • Assist with labeling of outbound shipping container
  • Support Assistant Manager and Shipping supervisor to facilitate running the daily close-outs
  • Assist during the carrier pick up
  • Participate in opportunities for continued training and development
  • Model company policies, procedures and guidelines while working on assigned tasks
  • Perform other duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Shipping and receiving or inventory background preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift upto 50+ lbs
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Basic knowledge of computers and organizational skills
  • Excellent in-person, phone, and electronic-based interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence and partner/collaborate with others. Must be highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives
  • Proficiency with, and ability to conduct, intermediate tasks within Microsoft Office Suite applications and various cloud based office applications
  • Ability to utilize self-learning systems
  • Possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills
  • Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all
