GPTech is seeking a Finance Consultant to support GPTech’s Finance and Administration Team. The focus of the Finance Consultant will be to assist with the termination plans of several of GPTech’s projects.  The Finance Consultant will work closely with the Finance and Accounting team as well as with the Contracts and Pricing team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Review GPTech  2025 budget, revenue, and expenses against FAR 31.205-42 Termination Costs and develop a plan to charge all qualifying termination costs, even those in indirect pools, equitably across terminated and non-terminated contracts.  Develop cost pooling policy, guidance, and supporting documentation for the settlement proposals based on approved plan.  Reclass costs based on approved plan.
  • Calculate unabsorbed overhead and add to termination settlements
  • Review indirect rate adjustments prior to 2024 on multiyear projects and include in settlement costs. Assist in finalizing 2024 indirect rate and finalize application to terminated projects. Create supporting documentation. 
  • Create profit calculations and supporting documents
  • Review all termination costs to ensure they are allowable, allocable, and reasonable and conform to federal regulations.  Reclass costs as necessary.
  • Draft accurate termination settlement forms that conform to regulations, sections of the narrative, and sections of the supporting documentation.

Relevant Past Performance
•    Minimum Fifteen (10) years of demonstrated experience in accounting and finance
•    In-depth knowledge of federal government contract accounting, federal contract types,
     Federal Acquisition Regulations, CAS compliance, USAID regulations, and terminations for convenience
•    Expertise in multi-country financial operations and foreign currencies
•    Experience in creating and maintaining a Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement for the US Government

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office™ package. Unanet, Slack, and Asana experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
