What You Will Do
• Achieve: Process Outlet customer sales transactions at the cash register, create daily till reports and travel to bank to make deposits and retrieve change for till. Sort donated goods on Outlet tables for quality and safety. Deliver great customer service to Outlet visitors.
• Support: Responsible for supporting Outlet store team by rotating tables, maintaining the work environment in a clean and orderly fashion, and adhering to all GIRE safety and personnel policies.
• Communicate: Engage with Outlet customers to create a positive atmosphere and experience and to resolve customer issues. Ensure the safety of your environment through proper training, and communication with customers, your team and with appropriate staff members from other parts of the organization.
To Be Successful You Will Have
• At least one year of experience running a cash register
• High School diploma or GED required
• Willingness to learn
• The ability to maintain productivity and work with a sense of accomplishment and a sense of urgency
• Proven ability to speak, read, write in English and count
• Ability to take direction and work independently or with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform tasks for full work shift
• Ability to comprehend operating and safety instructions
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License and an MVR allowing insurable status
• Proof of personal auto insurance
• Must have access to a reliable passenger vehicle that supports completion of essential and ancillary functions of the position
