What You Will Do
  • Achieve: Complete facilities repair work with an emphasis on electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Perform routine maintenance as needed at locations including carpentry, painting, landscaping and minor repairs. Keep an ongoing inventory list of all commonly used facility items. Communicate directly with store managers regarding performance of all repairs. 
  • Support: Responsible for supporting Facility Manager to prioritize work orders and repairs outlined in work orders, and to maintain inventory of supplies. Provide support to retail store managers with clear communication  regarding work performed.
  • Communicate: Engage with staff members at the retail level regarding the status of planned maintenance and repair projects to keep the stores running smoothly. Ensure the safety of your environment through proper training and communication with appropriate staff members.

To Be Successful You Will Have
  • One or more years of experience in maintenance or related work with knowledge of basic building and landscape maintenance.
  • Ability to operate handheld power tools and all tools needed for essential job functions.
  • Ability to perform repairs to electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance including landscaping, painting and carpentry work.
  • Proven ability to speak, read, write in English.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Valid California Class C Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Report allowing insurable status.
