GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. Key Duties:
  • Conducting fieldwork including infrastructure and utility surveys, site and construction inspections, and due diligence investigations.
  • Data gathering, organization and interpretation of site conditions in support of site development.
  • Executing engineering analyses, under the direction of a senior engineer, including site planning, stormwater calculations, utility layouts and construction drawings, and boundary surveys.
  • Writing drafts of field reports, inspection/engineering reports, technical specifications, and permitting applications.
  • Preparing construction plans.
  • Performing cost/quantity estimates and project scheduling.
  • Communicating effectively and efficiently with contractors, clients, and team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience required, E.I.T. preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D skills required.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel will be required. Candidate must have consistent means of transportation to/from project sites.
