Responsible for ensuring that all hotel visitors are delighted with the quality of service, creativity, and variety of our food and beverage offering, and for establishing our name in the Costa Rican market. Ideal candidates are creative and service-oriented leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Manage and analyze guest satisfaction, service quality and presentation of food and beverage products, service standards, condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
-Maintain the highest levels of guest service and develop a relationship with both hotel guests and local clientele, meeting and greeting guests in the Restaurant, and handling guest complaints in an efficient and enjoyable manner.
-Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach and discipline team members, supervisors to ensure standards are met.
-Lead the training and education session for all team members.
- Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition and good relations.
-Maintain awareness of food and beverage trends, systems, practices, and equipment through trade literature, hotel shows, site visits, and monitoring of local competitors to benchmark their performance against those of local & international competitors.
-Work closely with the Director & Manager. Create professional relationships and actively participate in all hotel os.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Graduate or diploma in Hotel management, Food and Beverage, or a related field.
Five or more years of operating experience in a similar position..
Experience in performing administrative tasks
Ability to communicate successfully with clients, management, and co-workers in english & spanish
