POSITION: CAGE DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be age 21 or older, pass a pre-employment drug test and qualify for a gaming license
- Cannot be convicted of a felony
- Must know Title 31, SAR and CTRC compliance policies
- Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Must have at least two (2) years' experience managing cage or vault operations and experience with computer systems. Bank experience a plus.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 40 pounds
- Must have finger dexterity, standing, walking up to four (4) hours with no break
- Must not be color blind
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Cage Director is responsible for ensuring adherence to procedures and internal controls
- Accountable for controlling the cash assets
- Must communicate with the Senior Management on a regular basis
- Must control the shortage and overage file in conjunction with the Cage Supervisor
- Maintain stock levels and control usage of stationery and supplies
- Ensure correct and accurate administration of the cashiering section
- Make recommendations as necessary for improvements to any facet of the cashiering functions
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining all cashiering staff
- Conduct regular performance appraisals on supervising staff and ensure all other staff members are reviewed regularly
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- All other duties as assigned
