We are looking for a hardworking and reliable host/hostess who is enthusiastic and willing to grow within our restaurant! At Havasu Landing Resort & Casino, our core service standards are Fun, Friendly, Clean, and Safe. In this position, the host/hostess are expected to multi-task, think fast, and work well under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations. Each employee is expected to make every effort to be well-informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command respect of co-workers and all other personnel. - Knowledge of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees
- Greet guest(s) in a timely and professional manner
- Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
- Assist with clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables
- Assign table sections and oversee servers
- Complete credit card, cash or guest room charges as required
- Balancing shift at closing
- Exhibit close communications with servers, kitchen personnel, front desk and management
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
- Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
