REPORTS TO:                             CASINO GENERAL MANAGER
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and have total responsibility for the management and operations of the Casino Gaming Department, Bar during his/her shift. Assist the Casino Manager in the overall efficient and profitable operation of the Gaming Department, & Lounge.
  • Must have a full understanding of all gaming laws, internal controls and procedures of Havasu Landing Casino
  • Responsible for the proper handling of all incidents in the pit of an irregular nature (i.e., disputes, drunk or disorderly behavior, high rollers, large losers)
  • Must be able to inform Senior Management of major changes in the pit and the incoming
Pit Supervisor at shift change of all relevant information concerning customers and staff
  • Must be able to supervise the opening and closing of tables and verification of float balances
  • Must have the ability to determine accurate table fills; credits and communication with the cashiering department are essential
  • Responsibilities include correcting mistakes made by supervisors or dealers on the tables, ensuring the efficient running of all games through effective staff development and regular facilitation of the employee performance appraisal process
  • In conjunction with the shift manager, the Pit Supervisor must have the ability to determine the staffing levels and number of open tables based on business demands
  • Must be able to establish high standards for customer relations, ensuring those standards are maintained and identification of good customers for the Host program are fundamental responsibilities of this position
  • Ability to manage disputes, which are brought to the attention of the Pit Supervisor, must be handled in a diplomatic manner with the customer while providing support for the staff member
  • Ability to complete paper accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Havasu Landing Casino procedures
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • All other duties as assigned

  • All staff employed by Havasu Landing Hotel & Casino must be 21 years of age or older.
  • All staff employed by Havasu Landing Hotel & Casino must pass a pre-employment drug test and be free of any criminal convictions preventing them from obtaining a gaming license.
  • Technical training and or experience in table games is required.
  • Minimum two years’ experience as dealer of at least three table games in a casino with five years in professional supervisory position within a casino.
  • Must be familiar with all table games in the casino.
  • Cannot be colorblind, this position requires standing for long periods. Must have excellent finger dexterity, frequent grasping, repetitive motions, frequent bending and reaching.
