• Must be able to work weekends, days, nights, and holidays

  • Guards Casino property and guests against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry

  • Patrols buildings and grounds of the Casino and related areas, this includes examining doors, windows and gates to determine that they are secure

  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws pertaining to the gaming industry.

  • Warns violators of hours, gaming rule infractions and drinking violations

  • Apprehends persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

  • Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred

  • Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, health hazards and security hazards to the Security Manager/Supervisor.

  • Notify the Security Control room in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons

  • Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property

  • Permits authorized persons to enter the property

  • Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of equipment or machinery

  • All other duties as assigned



  • Must be age 21 or older and qualify for a gaming license

  • High School diploma or GED. Some college preferred.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

  • Have the ability to write incident reports and to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

  • Security, military or police experience preferred

  • Must be physically fit, requires standing, walking, bending

  • May be required to lift up to 30 pounds

  • Must have good vision (corrected 20.20)

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
