Position Overview
Shelterhouse is a community of residents, staff and volunteers working together to provide basic human services for the men and women of the Greater Cincinnati area who are experiencing homelessness. The Community Receptionist is responsible for being the face of Shelter House which includes greeting guests, handling inquiries, setting meetings and managing various office duties.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
1. Greet guests and direct residents / inquiries to appropriate person
2. Make appointments, update calendars and handle communication between residents and case managers
3. Manages inquires about company or program / service information and other related business
4. Order, receive, stock and distribute office supplies
5. Follow best practices and complete other assignments as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements
· High School Diploma is required
· 1+ Years of related Customer Service/ Receptionist experience
Skills & Abilities
· Proficiency with PC’s and computer programs including MS Office Suite
· Excellent customer service and telephone skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Detail oriented

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $12.00 /hour

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent
