CTC LPHA will perform clinical services, including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and individual/group counseling. CTC LPHA works directly with clients experiencing a mental health crisis and collaborates with other QMHPs and therapist at MHMR/CTC. CTC LPHA may assist with interventions as needed with individuals experiencing challenging behaviors. This position is located in Waco.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and best practice models of treatment

  • Excellent written communication  and computer keyboarding for inputting clinical documentation

  • Excellent verbal communication with consumers, staff, and community providers

  • Time management required to meet service goals

  • Psychotherapy and Skills Training

  • Treatment planning experience

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods

  • Ability to be CPR and SAMA certified

  • Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required

        Education and Experience

  • Master's in social work, psychology or related field from an accredited school and a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PSYD.

  • Requires full licensure as LCSW, LPC, RN, ect

  • Experience in mental health counseling preferred.

 

Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM & other days/times as needed

Salary: $47,249.90 Annually (Guaranteed Overtime)
