The Housing Navigator will work closely with area Continuum of Care Agencies to locate housing for homeless individuals. The Housing Navigator will walk the consumer through he process of locating and applying for appropriate housing.  This position will also act as liaison between area landlords and the Continuum of Care to develop relationships to increase the availability of affordable housing.  This person will also respond to concerns a landlord may have with a consumer in one the Continuum of Care housing programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions
  • Excellent written communication  and basic computer knowledge for inputting clinical documentation
  • Excellent verbal communication with consumers, staff, and community providers
  • Time management required to meet service goals
  • Local travel to consumer homes and other community settings
  • Lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods
  • Ability to be CPR and SAMA certified
  • Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's  in social work, psychology or related field with ability to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing
  • 1 year of social service field preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM with other as needed

Salary: $13.87 Hourly/ $28,840 Annually
