The caseworker for Adult Mental Health works to assist mental health consumers in successfully completing goals. This person will assess client needs, link clients with community resources, provide skills training and psychosocial rehab, and perform other case management duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have the general knowledge of mental illness, rehabilitative skills training methods and community resources;
  • Excellent written communication  and computer knowledge for entering clinical documentation;
  • Excellent verbal communication with consumers, staff, and community providers;
  • Time management required to meet service goals;
  • Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods;
  • Frequent telephone usage;
  • Must have and maintain a level of general heath that permits the performance of job duties;
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds;
  • Ability to be CPR/First Aid and PMAB certified;
  • Ability to travel for Center business;
  • Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required;

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field with ability to obtain and maintain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing
  • 1 year of case management experience preferred

Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM with other hours as needed

Salary: $30,000 - $36,172 DOE Plus $5000 Regional Stipend
